Dutton Marine S2 This Amphib was based on the Ford Fiesta Mk3 (April 1989 to 1996). But the Marine S2 is no longer in production. The Marine S2 was available until 1996 in kit form and up to the end of 2000 completely build. The Marine S2 is maybe small but it took a force 4 wind in the English Channel.
	Commander 2WD The Dutton Commander was based on the Ford Fiesta Mk4. (the new model) Dutton did import the Mk4 from Belgium and striped them to the bone, then rebuilded them into the self colour GRP structure. The are full 4 seaters with storage room behind the folding rear seats, under the rear seats, in both doors and glove box in the dashboard. The use of the fiesta dashboard and seats gives it a well finished feeling with al the controls in the right places.
As can be seen in the pictures below the turning radius in water is amazingly small.
The drive shafts are fitted with stainless steel bearings with double rubber seals to keep the water out. The under water exhaust is made from stainless steel with a perforated steel tube silencer. The start engine is powerful enough to turn the engine over AND push the water out even before the engine starts and blows the rest of the water out.
